Use this little JavaScript to convert telephone numbers with alphabetic characters into telephone numbers containing only digits.  For example, 452-LATE gets translated into 452-5283.  All letters in the phone number are translated to their corresponding telephone dial or touchtone pad digits.

Speech users: fill in the first edit box with the phone number to translate. The second edit box will contain the result.  Click the Translate button and the focus will automatically return to the second edit box so you can easily read the result.
