Born in 1959.
Electronics hobbyist since mid 1960's.
Built the PE Elf in 1976.
From (and still in) Michigan (Detroit suburbs)
Occupation: Electronic Technician.
Fluent in both hardware & software.
At present I have no plans to build the Elf2k, but I don't mind helping with documentation.
Oh, my bio must be at least 50 words long. I think we may have the answer as to why it is so popular. I didn't realize I was applying to such an exclusive club. I have to say this is a first for me, entering so much damn info to just to join an Internet site. Really not in the spirit of the 'Net.
