Andrew is a tech enthusiast with a history of tinkering with electronics that goes back to the early 70's, starting with crystal radios and moving on to logic and computer circuits. His first "real" computer was a Netronics Elf II in 1980, followed by another 1802 based controller board that was designed and built in his grade 12 electronics class. Those computers are long gone but he still tinkers with 1802 CPU chips and has several 1802 based "ELF" computers to experiment with.
